Excess flow valves (flanged)

  • Available in carbon steel or stainless steel
  • Wafer Type is designed to fit inside Schedule 160, 80 or less steel pipe
  • Wafer type: Fits inside the bolts of 150 or 300-pound American Standard steel pipe flanges
  • Flanged type is designed to fit between 150 or 300 or 600-pound American Standard steel pipe flanges
  • Flanged type. Ring groove flanges can be furnished if required
  • Generous flow channels provide minimal pressure drops

Excess flow valves are safety check devices that protect against higher flow rates than what is expected in lines or in case of ruptures. They are installed in flow lines and are specifically designed for pipelines, pressure gauges and tank nozzles.
